there is a fix for this? i know that disabling the audio make the game go on, but this happen at every mega star?
Do you have latest revision from dolphin-emu.org ? I thought this (mostly nvidia) issue was fixed months ago.
yes i have the latest rev, however i have a hd4850

Yes, there's no other way Tongue
It's also passable with LLE without disabling audio, it's only a problem with the HLE plugin. I think the botched AFC decoder in HLE might be responsible for this issue as members reported that as long as the music doesn't stop looping it won't hang after collecting the grand star.
lle is better than hle?
this problem happen also in smg1?

Better as in less issues and more compatible than HLE, definitely. However there is a major performance hit when using LLE, however the developers are working on JIT'ing the LLE plugin so that performance will be similar to HLE.

Besides the plugin being slow, audio works fine in SMG1/SMG2, the music loops as it should and it doesn't hang when collecting a grand star.

With other games the audio may crackle, screech or sound robotic, the developers are working on fixing that however.
lle doesn't make start the game!

does the lle still have bad cracking sound or has it been worked on lately ?
