I think I got it.

Actually, yeah, it's true. The game doesn't crash anymore when starting a course with OQ enabled. But the guy didn't precise if it was actually playable or not.
So, right, the game runs faster with OQ enabled, but isn't playable.

Finally, don't get excitated by that thread. Don't bother trying the revision 3207 or any other higher revisions. Don't bother trying billions combinations of all the emulation options.
Mario Kart Wii is NOT playable with OQ turned on. During courses you will just keep falling again and again into black shit.
By the way, the log message of the revision 3207 is:
Rev 3207 Wrote:Got the games to try and send out a packet. Probably something to do with DHCP.
If I want to go any farther, I need to create the virtual network interface now

Affected files:
/trunk/Source/Core/Core/Src/HW/EXI_DeviceEthernet.cpp
/trunk/Source/Core/Core/Src/HW/EXI_DeviceEthernet.h

EDIT: my most sincere excuses. The game is playable with OQ enabled, but ONLY ON THE IL VERSION. And it isn't completely playable, because the characters have their geometry
messed up, for instance Mario kinda looks like he has parachutes attached to him, and it reduces visibility a lot.
Hi on JIT IL (dolphin R3310) whis OQ enabled Mario Kart wii and other game work now and without geometry bug.
That Is Good News Smile

Is yours NTSC or PAL?

I'm having geometry issues with NTSC version in the first race and I hope some day Mario kart creates its own savefile.
