I've searched and read through the threads pertaining to this game, but I felt it would be useful to make a thread discussing performance only - not glitches and bugs.

I have the game running decently, but I have a few questions..

Is there a certain version of Dolphin that'll run the game best with my hardware setup ?

Some sounds stop working ( foot steps, door sounds, etc. ). Do they ever come back later in the game ?

JIT or JITIL ?

DX9 or OpenGL ? I've been having better performance with DX9, but I'm curious as to what others use.

So, post your computer's specs and tell us how it runs for you.

AMD X2 7750 3.0GHz ( OC'd )
GeForce 9600GT 512MB
2GB RAM 667 MHz
Windows 7 ( 32-bit )

Like I said above, it runs decently at 25 - 30 FPS ( what it's designed to run at ) for the most part ( some slowdown in rooms with a lot of lighting - can get down to ~20 FPS ), but I have those questions that keep me wondering..
I've gotten the best performance from Dolphin SVN R 6281 with the following settings..

I use these settings as well.Smile
I just turn off the cpu EFB enable access, safe texture and enable audio throttle on dsp.Big Grin
Internal Resolution Auto (fractional).
I use the Wii version of Resident Evil Remake (NTSC).Tongue
I use the r6108 for this game.Smile
Result fullspeed runs and perfect sound. (Wii NTSC version)Tongue
That's cool. I had to end up using JITIT cause a cut scene was makin' the emulator hang, but it's all good now.. Also, I changed the " framelimit " option to off and got a speed boost.

Slowdowns are normal in Remake, the slowdown in the main hall seems to have been fixed but there are slowdowns in other parts of the game which has not been addressed yet. I would suggest trying the IL build of the latest revision.

I'll check it out..

What i do is
1. Use Dolphine 3.0 Default setting same as RE Zero
2. After launch game hold A,B,X,Y,Z until the refresh rate screen appear (at the moment after memory card checking)
3. set it to 60 Hz
4. game will run quiet stable at 30 FPS while running and 60 FPS when open the door. and no slowdown anymore

I have a question. My Fps is ~15 in some places. If I buy CPU Intel Pentium Dual Core 3.2 GHz will it raise up my Fps enaugh?
My PC Params:
CPU - Intel Pentium 4 Hyperthreading 3.20 GHz
Video - MSI N430GT MD2GD3 [2Gb]
Ram - Kingston KVR800D2N6/2G x4 [8Gb]
