No. I was stating Bluetooth is another thing it connects to, since Billiard26 stated that it only connects to power - which isn't entirely true.
It is entirely true. The IR bar just needs power to be functional.

But how does the computer detect the sensor bar without Bluetooth?

It doesn't. Like I said in my first reply to this thread, :/
The sensor bar is just some IR LEDs for the wiimote to look at. (you can use two candles, or any IR light source)
The wiimote then communicates with the PC/Wii via bluetooth.

But that doesn't make sense to me (not that it doesn't make sense, in general). How does Dolphin know when I am or when I am not using the wireless sensor bar?

The wiimote locates up to 4 IR light sources with the camera, figures out their x/y coordinates and sends them (along with how many dots it sees, their sizes, and other info) to the Wii/PC/Dolphin.
If a wiimote doesn't see any IR lights (no sensor bar, candles, etc) it will say so in the input reports.

Ah. So it's the Wii remote that's doing all the work.
Can i do the same with a IrDa dongle because i don't want thjat my wii is always on or want to buy mae a second sensor bar.

What's that? I don't think anything like that exists.
You can make one pretty cheap, all you need is a wireless sensor bar and a USB cable you're happy to break. You strip the USB cables to get the power cables, then wire them onto the contacts where you put the batteries.
I did it, it was easy. It's not too expensive either, the sensor bar is ~$5 and a USB cable is ~$2.

Yeah, i posted 2 pics,you'll see
Edit : This sensor bar not use any battery's energy and it's original one from Nintendo
it doesn't work i have put it in front of my laptop monitor and start the wii and start dolphin i have connect the wiimote with my laptop and play the game but nothing happened no mouse/hand come.
