I have already set the resolution to 1920x1080. I have set the AA to 16x and MSAA to 16xQ CSAA with Native Mips and To Ram (Accuracy) enabled. So far, I've been able to run SSBM and the new Sonic 4 at a consistent 59fps (SSBM) and a consistent 60fps (Sonic 4). Is there anything else I can do to UP the picture quality or is this the best it gets? Just want to make sure.
Change the internal resolution to Auto and tick EFB scaled copy.

The internal resolution was already set to 'Auto'. I ticked back 'EFB scaled copy', but I'm not sure if I notice a difference or not - the game already looked amazing, just wanted to see if I could make it even better. What exactly does 'EFB scaled copy' do?
The EFB scaled copy changes all polygons to hi res mode.

To further enhance the graphics, tick the Per Pixel Lighting and tick Native Mipmaps.

Alright, done.

I still don't see any difference. Should I be seeing a BIG visual difference after these options have been ticked?

I already had Native Mips ticked. I'm also not seeing a performance hit. Is this normal?

Yep, it's normal. The games are now running with the best graphics quality possible. I'm sure you realise that the Dolphin emulator cannot add graphics/polygons that did not exist in the original.

I figured something like that. I just wanted to confirm that I was playing with the best settings possible.

When you said set the internal resolution to auto, did you mean fractional or integral?

Also, what's the difference between the two?
The difference is a slight rounding difference. I use fractional and that works fine for most games. For 2D games like Sonic 4, integral might look better (less blurring).
Alright .. I understand.
Thank you for all the replies.

I finally got SSBB running and it looks AMAZING.

I'll come back and post a screen shot later.
Try Direct X9 plugin with EFB Scale 3x and Anti aliasing to 9x with the highest resolution you can use :p. It looks awesome Big Grin!
