i believe that you have to mount the ISO file in daemon tools (or any program) and and boot DVD in Dolphin to get this option

We haven't testing it enough yet to be sure, but it shouldn't cause anything negative. You can test it yourself though and report any issues you find (if any).

Huh?
You just enable the option and run the game like you would normally.
Also fixes the music in the Starfox Adventures intro besides RE0, before the Starfox Adventures intro would crackle and stutter like crazy. I haven't tested to see what else it fixes, but I can say it doesn't fix SMG1/SMG2, ZTP music since I already tested that.
As for issues, haven't noticed any, then again I have a powerful system.

To me, it had a negative effect.
I couldn't get past the Rareware logo in Star Fox Adventures now. Had to disable the option to play the game.
No error on the log file. It didn't crash, neither the game or the emulator, it just stood in the Rare logo screen and didn't respond to any command.
I had watermark tightness set to 1000 according to instructions on the SFA topic on the forums... Maybe I should put it back to 50? Got a random crash before, when entering another area.

Was that the cause of the crash? As in, did disabling it cause you to get past the logo?

Mysteriously, after updating to R6271, then trying to disable audio (with no luck, it crashed, this time, on the Dolby Surround logo) and then re-enabling it back, the game worked once again, but worked just like it was with the option disabled... chopping BGM on the intro.

Dolphin has a bug where changing the game properties will not take effect until Dolphin has been restarted. That might explain some of the weirdness you are seeing.

When I meant it resolved the intro audio, I meant the rest of the issue. For some reason the audio on the intro seems to correspond with the speed, so if it's running slow the audio will be choppy. Audio was very choppy and crackled even at full speed prior to revision 6258, so revision 6258 fully addressed the problem as long as the game is running full speed.
I'm not sure what audio format the intro uses, but it is dependent on speed else it's choppy.

Disc Transfer's been updated. Is it now set to default or not, the wording was confusing.
Is this a function that will ever be needed to be turned off?
