Really - in game?? That's weird. I wonder how you're getting the announcer to work. Can you post your settings please?
Game works again thanks to Skid in r6285!
Same audio issues as in the old versions. And the speed problem is still there - never goes above 60%. Updated 1st post.
Got mine working at full speed (and them some at times - lol!) with r4775 - OpenGL, EFB Copy - 'Disable' (slow otherwise), Safe Textures - check (green screen otherwise), and frame limit - 60fps (*to stop the uber speed ups). Though it may run even better in 3D9, I'm just lazy to fiddle with it now!
No commentary or music, as is known, and LLE crashes Dolphin for me. Hopefully a commentary capable version lands some time soon.
PS: Anyone know how to get the resolution higher? In the latest build, r6285 or whatever, the game runs with HD resolution, albeit at 50% speed, but in r4775 it's a bit grainy and jaggy. Any fix for this or is it just a trade off for full speed?
Specs:
Win 7 Ultimate 64bit
i7 Q820 1.7-3Ghz, 8GB RAM
ATi Radeon 4670, 4Gb (1Gb)

GPU isn't the cause of the slowdown but rather the CPU, since changing even to the lowest GPU settings brings the exact same speed results here (about 38 fps with a core i7 at 3.2 ghz).

You meant issue 2571 i suppose?

Well, hope it gets fixed, it will help a lot of games and compatibility will increase substantially (compared to the latest official release).
Yep, they look pretty related - can't be a coincedance that the these 2 issues started happening around the same revision. And I just found out Kirby runs full speed on r4775 as opposed to running pretty sluggish on current revs. As you said, when this is addressed, it'll be pretty big!

About the game:
NBA Jam is a 2-on-2 basketball game that had a unique way of showing the players from the game off. In the game, the bodies take on a 3D look, while their heads take on a 2D look, which gave out real digitized likenesses. The game retains its usual exaggerated nature of play - players jumped many times above their own height, making slam dunks that defied both human capabilities and the laws of physics. There were no fouls, free throws, or violations except goaltending and 24 second violations. This meant the player was able to freely shove or elbow his opponent out of the way. Additionally, the game had an "on fire" feature, where if one player made three baskets in a row, he would become "on fire" and have unlimited turbo, no goaltending, and increased shooting ability, until the other team scored (or the player had scored four consecutive baskets while "on fire").
Some new features are in NBA Jam include campaign, which has 1-on-1 boss battles, elimination, which includes up to four different players where the player with the lowest amount of points being the loser, 21, which is a 1-on-1 match in where the first one to get 21 points is the winner, and HORSE, where up to four players shoot where the leader shot from, and if they miss, they get a letter.
Like its predecessor, the game is filled with easter eggs, special features and players activated by initials or button/joystick combinations. For example, players could enter special codes to unlock hidden players. However, unlike the original arcade game from Midway, some characters could only be unlocked by requiring certain challenges to unlock hidden players.

- Use r4775 (found here: http://www.dolphin-emu.org/download.html). It was about the revision that something happened and prevented the game from ever reaching full speed in subsequent builds. With r4775, it runs at 100% speed consistently.
Graphics:
Pretty much perfect! (either gfx plugin)
Unique Settings:
Just needs Safe Texture Cache active for current menu colors and for proper text display.
Game Issues:
- Cannot reach full speed after revision r4775.
- Only playable on versions <r5691 or >r6285.
- No announcer audio or background music in any version (HLE).
You can use LLE for the commentator, but as we all know using LLE is not worth it.
Please post the configuration to play game at full speed with r4775.
Update 1st with current info. Thanks to Skid the game is super playable on current revs. All that's missing is music and announcer. Skid you know you want to challenge your skills and code the DSP functions precisely.

Having a hard time mapping the buttons for "cross-over" and "spin" on my Xbox360 controller. It does not detect no matter what button I map it too. I've tried everything but no luck. Everything else works fine.
Any tips?
Thanks.
