Sup guys...
Im running the latest SVN on my Win7 32bits and Resident Evil Remake runs about 27fps all the time with Direct9.
So, this is my PC
Phenom II X4 B40 @ 3.0ghz
2gb DDR2 533
GTS250 512mb
Think ill buy 4gb 1200mhz and install Win7 x64... what should i expect.. the same 27fps or more? less?

About the same. Not really gonna see a big improvement but a improvement rather then a less.
I think it will be 30 or something.
Plz click search ==> [64 bit] - try it
nobs they are every where.
Yes you will get a performance improvement with 64 bit builds. Usually 20-30% over 32 bit (it varies from one game to another).
Well this didnt work for me, I got no speed improvements when changing from XP 32bit to 7 64bit, but I did notice a more stable fps, and maybe a 3 or 4 fps more on some games. Of course, just talking about the games that doesnt run at fullspeed...
Runo, you have 2 GB of RAM, I think that you'll only notice some speed improvements with 4 GB RAM+. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well since you gave me permission...you're wrong. 64 bit Dolphin builds use 200-600MB of ram depending on the build. Win 7 x64 uses 700MB-1GB depending on the situation. So as long as you don't have some other applications that use a lot of memory running at the same time 2GB is enough.
Performance improvement going from x86 to x64 depends on the game. Some games gain little to no improvement while others gain very significant improvement.

Actually, 7 changes in RAM usage depending on how much you have. If you have a lot, it'll use a lot to smooth things out.
I use ~1.7GB just sitting at desktop.

You must have some background services running. When I first installed win 7 x64 prof sitting idle at the desktop was using 700MB. It slowly went up as I started installing drivers and programs. After a few months it was up to 1GB. It's been a year now and it's still at 1GB. I have never seen someone use 1.7GB idle without a lot of background services running though. It shouldn't be using that much. Plus it should be even lower when dolphin is running as you mentioned.
He can always check his memory usage in task manager if he wants to know for sure whether he would benefit from having 4GB of ram, but I doubt he is using all of the 2GB of ram.
