I have the latest dolphin (6252) and the sound is distorted somewhat and echos sometimes. Also, when starting the game I receive four errors warning me to disable dual core speed up, or else I will suffer crash/hanging. I have searched for solutions but non seem to help me. The only solution I have found is to just use the Wii version of this game. Is that currently the only solution available?

I just beat RE 1 for the first time, so I am really hoping you guys can help me because I want to continue to Zero and learn more about the story line (I've never played the games until just recently). I run Resident Evil Remake 99% perfectly (60 fps). Does anyone know a torrent for the Wii version that is legit/still seeds?

Version: 6252 Dolphin Emulator
E8500 (3.1ghz) Intel
4 GB 1066
GTX 260

Edit: Wii version is pretty much unplayable... I only get 19 FPS when I have to attack things when I had to turn off dual core support due to crashing with it on... It sucks to be honest. I suppose I rather wait till they get Zero to work better. Does anyone have any solutions to get GC or Wii version of Zero to work very smoothly like Remake does? Is there any word on when Zero will be fixed and work smoothly?
No help guys? No solutions Confused? Guess I have to play with no music which sorta takes the fun/scare outa Zero Dodgy

Try to use the new builds:

He is using one of the latest builds and that won't help anything, those builds are no different than any other build. This issue exists in all builds, the developers haven't got around to fixing it yet. Besides this there is several other sound issues, such as bgm cutting out while playing, missing notes etc..

It seems all Resident Evil games (RE0 - RE4) exhibit similar issues, although some issues vary between games.
The "real" solution is to play the PAL version wich has better sound.
Well actually there IS a solution for sound in RE Zero.

Anyone interested can google "DolphinZERO-2842".

As far as I know, it's the only Dolphin build that produces a clear sound in RE0.

Yes, it's kinda old and not exactly well-optimized graphic wise, but... none of the newer builds work normally with Zero.
All Dolphin Zero does is use the old RE0 sound hack. It's an old revision though, the RE0 sound hack was removed a while back because it no longer worked due to changes in the HLE plugin. Since then there has been other fixes that may have affected this game, so it's either use the latest build and benefit from these fixes or use an older build with the RE0 sound hack and not benefit from recent fixes.

Does it, though? I think official Dolphin with RE0 sound hack enabled didn't work nearly as well for me.
Yes that's all it is, I believe the person that compiled the Dolphin Zero builds was the same one that made the RE0 hack, the hack and the build are essentially the same thing. You can probably find the builds and the person/developer that coded the hack by searching the forum.

As DSP development progressed the RE0 hack gradually stopped working until it stopped working completely, that's probably why the Zero builds work better, if they are based on an older build before the DSP changes that broke the hack.
