Hi everyone, first post here. To help the OP, I am almost positive your problem is the EFB to RAM vs Texture. Choose to texture. I have a quadcore AMD Phenom II 3.4GHz. It was choking on to RAM, but never misses a beat on to Texture. The quality of the game looks identical, just sometimes your on screen maps kind of look messed up, although still readable.

Yep, it's nice to have multiple confirmations though.
