Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

At first I got the "pad" error, but I updated DirectX as instructed in other threads. Now I no longer get this error, but when I try to load a game, a window starts to pop up and then the entire program closes. I've tried four games so far, so it isn't an individual game's problem. Is there something else I'm missing?

The error message now reads "Can't create opengl renderer. You might be missing some required opengl extensions, check the logs for more info."

You probably have a video card that doesn't support OpenGL 2.x.

Use the Direct3D graphics plugin instead of the OpenGL one.
