hi there,

guys i need some help, I've been trying to run Metal Grear Solid Twin Snakes on my PC, after I open the ISO image i can see that the emulation was a success , i even see the KONAMI logo at the begining, and then the game crashes and says "BackPatch : Base reg not RBX, Attempted to access : 3f47e054"
and if i click ok it says : " BackPatch : Currently only supporting reads, attempted to write: 3f47e054"
and if i click ok for the final time it says :"WRITE: Invalid address :535bf46c"
if i keep clicking ok those three messages will loop forever.

please i need help


my PC spec:

Intel core 2 duo 2.66GHZ, 8MB cache
4GB RAM
Nvidia 9600M GT (512MB vid ram)
500 GB hard drive

Make sure you are using the latest svn version of Dolphin.

Right click the game in the game list and select Properties. Tick "MMU speed hack". The game will work after that. The old versions have the option labelled "TLBHack".

I have Dolphin 2.0 , I've just downloaded it yesterday from this site, "TLBHack" is already enabled, I tried disabling it but it just resulted in more and more errors that i know nothing about.

What region is MGS? Do you have a crc32 or md5 you could share?

Try downloading the latest svn from www.dolphin-emu.org and test that.
