Sounds like an obscure thing to do, but I would like to somehow slow things down so I can screen cap each frame of a character's movement. Is that possible?
I don't know about a feature to do that, but you can make the emulator run in interpreter mode, and disable idle skipping. This should slow it down to 1%
In the config you can get the framelimit as low as 10, and you can also use frame stepping.

But if you wanted to capture character animation frames, instead you might want to use frame dumping.
Check the graphics plugin you're using.

That sounds encouraging. If I combine that with free look, I should be able to get everything I need from the right angle.
