please understand im new to this dolphin stuff i have a laptop that has amd 64bit processor running win 7 ati radeon hd3200 gc 3 gb ram and 320 harddrive but i cant get mario galaxy 2 to run right very slow i cant get the setting right can anyone help please

Without more info about your system specs, dolphin revision, and settings no we can't help you. Although I have a feeling that your cpu is to weak. I can't confirm that until you tell me the model/clock rate.

What Natural said and SMG version are very heavy to emulate.
