Sorry if this is in the wrong spot but I'm kind of in a rush.

Anyway, I am using a Intel® 82945G Express Chipset Family graphics card in a HPm7160n computer. I'm using the Unknownforce build of Dolphin. I have Metroid Prime 3 running, but there's no video. I've searched the web for a couple hours and nothing has helped. I get two messages when I try and run the rom:

"Sorry, but it looks like you 3D accelerator is too old, or doesn't support features that Dolphin requires. Falling back to software vertex processing."

The second message:

"Warning: your graphics card does not support multiple render targets"

This is all leading me to believe that my graphics card is not going to work. I've looked all over Google for help with drivers and updates but nothing is working. This is the only place I can think of that may have my answers.

Thanks for your patients,
Bug

Ahhh, damnit! I skimmed through that thread too quickly. But at least I now know the problem.

Out of the graphics cards that do work, which do you personally recommend? I've never messed with my graphics card, so I'm hoping I can replace it, even though it's integrated.

Devs didn't break it, it just wasn't updated for a long time and became uncompatible with newest versions

Any graphics card that can support OpenGL 2.1 should be just fine. It's not a huge requirement for Dolphin as much as a fast CPU w/SSE2 support. I have a GeForce 9400 GT that cost about $40.00 and it works just fine. Of course some people will swear to NVidia while others will claim ATI is the way to go. If you have a 100 people, you'll hear 100 different recommendations with wich one you should get Wink
