Anyways, I have changed my mind and am going to build a pc.
Currently I am planning on getting:
i3 540 (3.06 ghz)
4gb 1333 ram
Geforce 9600gt.
This should have full performance for gc games but how would it do with wii games?

Good choice. A lot of fan boys in here crying to show that their processor is better than the other. I personally would've choose the intel one because of the gpu only.

That PC should be decent enough to play some wii games well. Although, you can upgrade the GPU more if you can afford too but 9600gt is still ok.

Should do great with both. What screen resolution are you running at though? I ask because you might need to turn off AA in some games with that video card depending on your resolution. Other than that it should run GC/WII games great.
I'm probably going to be using 720p at the most.
Also, is there any hope of solving the issue with gt 240s? I found one for a really good price online.

Then you'll be fine with a 9600GT.
