seriously?? do you want to buy one of those crap to play dolphin?? honestly it will work like a p.o.s, honestly the one with the 8700M will be better but still its crap for dolphin.
come on buy a wii and save the headache for configs, expensive rig for dolphin bla bla, dolphin its good if you have a really powerfull pc and want to play some games in high res with AA on, and its different from a real wii.
cost benefit wii > dolphin+pc
if you really want to play wii games on dolphin you better start thinking about unleashing some real cash for real.

1. Not everyone has lots of money to buy expensive gear
2. Who said he/she was buying it? he could be given a choice of the two for free
3. Who said he/she was buying it just for Dolphin? don't jump to conclusions
4. How do you know he/she doesn't already have a Wii or GC? Maybe I don't know just want to have some fun messing about with an emulator
5. You'd be surprised how a cheap rig can outperform some of the most expensive rigs when there setup correctly (and have had some minor tweaks to things such as the OS)
6. Don't call other peoples stuff "crap", that's just disrespectful and rude.

1) so its better someone tell them do not bother to avoid loosing their time or money, and time means money too, better than start AMD vs INTEL war or post like a troll pretending to be a paladin just to fight ppl online.
2) who said he/she didnt?
3) again who said he/she didnt? (do i see a pattern here? are you a mind reader?)
4) who said he have a wii/gc or whatever?? and if he does, its better that he/she just forget about the idead with those two rigs.
5) i have something pretty similar dual core 2.0ghz 9600M gt laptop, and it runs 90% of games like crap no matter how good i am with config stuff, but when i play on dolphin its on my desktop that its not just for dolphin.
6) i have crap stuff too, so its a 2 way road.
ps: your e-penis must be huge for picking fights online, your momma should be proud of you big boy, and i bet you will earn an e-cookie after your righteous post here.
why bother to fight over pieces of metal and silicon?

Hey, you can live in your own little world.... like I said, fine by me.... but, don't be spreading around misinformation because you failed to do substantial research on your hardware before buying it.
Justifying a crappy purchase will never make it better....

Fights are fail. Legitimate arguments without logical fallacies and name calling are good.
lol this harmless qouestion started a flame war...
Anyways, I have changed my mind and am going to build a pc.
Currently I am planning on getting:
i3 540 (3.06 ghz)
4gb 1333 ram
Geforce 9600gt.
This should have full performance for gc games but how would it do with wii games?
BTW, drakex99, those crap rigs I was getting were for free after helping out the owner, and I already have a wii.
if you were getting for free than you should get it ....than what you do is get a
thermalright 120 extreme cpu cooler $60 and overclock that to 3.2 ghz prolly can add some ram $40 and get a 4870 gpu u can find for a $100
everything else just leave it all in all $200 for a system that is good enough to run dolphin
