Hi everyone I have a problem with dolphin I have been trying to play the new metroid other m game but in the start after you fight the big eye monster in the start of the game I get an error stateing that dolphin stopped responding and need to close after I close it and try to open it up again it just disappears even though I can see the icon like its opened I have reinstalled it like 20 times but it keeps happening plz help
What version of windows are you using?
When Dolphin crashes windows is going to give you an error code of some sort. Look at the "More information" tab when dolphin crashes and it will explain the crash in detail.
I need you to post all of that information here if I am going to be able to help at all. It could be any number of things, and if you give me precise crash information then I'll be able to give you a good answer.

I also need your system specs in detail.
CPU make/model/frequency
Motherboard make/model
Memory make/model
Hard Drive make/model

How often do you defrag the hard drive?
Are you using a .iso or the disc itself?
What version of dolphin are you using?

ATTENTION: Anyone that has problems with Dolphin needs to be as specific as possible if you want help!!! Think about it! How do we know what the problem is unless you provide us with details of the situation.

How stable is your overclock?

Download and run LinX: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/show...p?t=201670
And run HWMonitor at the same time: http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

If LinX crashes or fails with errors, then your system is not stable. You're using a regular ol' i7 960, right? Not the extreme edition?
This processor has a LOCKED multiplier, which means you are overclocking with the CPU-HTT speed in BIOS. This is going to overclock your ram at the same time and could lead to stability issues.

Download and run CPU-Z http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.htmland take a screenshot of the SPD, Memory, and CPU tabs. This will help me by allowing me to see your settings.

Also make sure to take a screenshot of LinX once it has completed the test. I want to see proof that this is a stable overclock so that we can rule it out.

I am getting mad at this thing now. Now I tryed to open it and it justs minimize to the task bar and for no reason no matter how many times I click it it will not show up. I don't know what I am doing wrong it must be a setting or dolphin is very unstable. It just can not be a setting with my computer as I have tested my overclock and settings for 24 hour with prime95 and all allot of test with linX and I am Rock Soild Stable. I can also play any games like crysis or metro 2033 for hours at a time with out getting not even one crash. Please someone help me fix this as its really getting annoying. thnx
Nice overclock man. -7c? What are you using to cool that thing? I'm impressed with your overclock, really.

I am a hardware guy, and this looks like a software issue. Unfortunately I can't help further.

This is most definitely a Dolphin issue, but I can't say why exactly. What is USP10.dll? That is apparently what is causing the issue.
Hopefully one of the Dolphin team will show up and point you in the right direction.

My CPU is really now and 24/7 idleing at -42c. As -7c is lowest any windows senor program can read. also my memory is underclocked at 1450 as its running at 2:8 setting in the bios so it is not giveing me any problems

here are a few pics of my system and the cooler so you have an idea how it works
