the HP DV6-3054CA would be better for dolphin, due to a better graphics card.

Acer sucks. I have an Acer, and it´s...hm..."made in China with the worst materials we can find"
The HP is more powerfull (better graphics card) and HP has more quality. It does not get broken as easy as an Acer does.

As tempting as the HP is (and also the one I will probably get), I just want to know what kind of Dolphin performance the Acer will give me if I am forced to go for the Acer because of the battery life.

see if you can get yourself an asus with similar specs. Hp's (pavilions)always gave me screen problems(dead pixles, faded screen after 3-4 years) As far as I know, acer's are cheaper in price. But you get what you pay for.
does no one know what kind of performance the acer will give me??!!
(I can't go asus, there's nothing equal to the same gpu or battery life in Canada)
I have a asus for school I3-350M, ATI 5145M, W7 Home Premium, runs Dolphin at 80-100% in most of the games, SA2B 80%.

Both of them are "made in china" and HP suck alot .Have you heard HP's scandal this year : A hundred of people gathered and said "we want money back"
