anyways the point is that SP3 works just fine
Hhhhmmmm, maybe it's a problem with the networking drivers working with older computers. I just like to get specific details rather than someone just saying "don't use it, it sucks". Someone might get the wrong idea and avoid an update that could really benefit them. So if I dislike something I'll say why specifically and try to give examples to back it up

What problems is it giving you? I frequent other websites that specifically have people discuss new updates or beta software/hardware and they give there opinions. Honestly, this is the 1st time I've ever read someone say something negative about SP3, well, in the way it functions anyway, so I'm a bit surprised.
Hmmm... The problem is when I using XP SP2, the OpenGL error never appears.
After I upgrade my OS to SP3 (because everyone say it's good), problems appear.
When booting, it takes a long time to finish starting the services (4-5 minutes).
The welcome screen become classic (annoying, since I only have 1 user), and I can't change it (even with Tune Up Utilities 2009).
AND when running Dolphin, the openGL renderer problem makes me soooooooo pissed.
Now I'm using Vista 32bit on my notebook, no problems with it currently.
I don't know if there are a lot of versions of SP3 or not, but mine sucks!
Interesting. Thanks for explaining

I've read a few people stating it takes longer to boot, while others say there system boots faster with it. As for me, it seems to boot faster than when I had SP2. 1st time I've heard of it effecting someone's graphics card. But since you are now getting the OGL warning with SP3 installed, I wonder what it did differently to your system :/

Even with video card drivers updated?
I think the newest driver doesn't mean better performance.
If I updated with the newest driver (Nvidia 185.81 Vista32bit) on my Vista, the OpenGL problem may appears.
If I check with OpenGL Extension viewer program, my OpenGL support will go down from 2.1 (Nvidia 179.48) became 2.0 or worse (not supported 100% anymore)
My graphic card: Nvidia 9300M GS 512MB

and you can't create opengl renderer because either your graphics card isn't supported or you didn't uninstall your graphic driver before you installed the updated one
I always uninstall my graphics driver before installing the newest one, because if i don't, it just gives a BSOD.
I dumped the files from my Wii, LLE just doesn't recognize they are there. HLE is enough anyway.
And my card is supported. And as i said, it WAS running fine until now.
Well, it can be due to broken drivers. Maybe your spyware is not working properly and missed some virus. Try reinstalling drivers.
I already tried that, thanks though.
This Windows XP came with SP3 pre-installed. I wonder if i can downgrade to SP2 and try it there.
I have Windows Vista Ultimate 64-Bit Installation Disk around but my Wireless LAN Card drivers are not compatible with it, since they are so old...
Edit: Talking about Virus Protection, i'm using Kaspersky Antivirus, Tiny Firewall, Ad-Aware SE and Spybot Search & Destroy.
I don't believe you can uninstall SP3 when it was pre-installed because it doesn't have a previous service pack to roll back to. Not to mention uninstalling service packs, even when they weren't pre-installed, can get pretty messy and it doesn't completely remove all the components. Leaving you with a somewhat unstable OS. You, obviously, can't install SP2 over SP3, because it will detect you have a newer version and not allow you to continue.
But if someone has sucessfully done it, please let us know. But otherwise I wouldn't take the risk.
