Apparently there is a mod for Brawl, it is called Brawl Plus, requires BootMii and Homebrew channel to run Gecko. How do I run it? I have Wii Menu installed and working.

You insert the gecko codes in the gecko tab in the game properties, however many doesn't work yet.
(Btw you don't need BootMii to run Gecko on wii)

This. You should be able to just run the HBC for the brawl plus app. I'm pretty sure its an app, as I saw on HBB (homebrew browser) yesterday on my real wii. Bootmii is just the installer for the HBC. Bootmii also installs bootmii, which is for backing up the NAND on a real wii, which does you no good on a emulator. http://www.smashmods.com/forum/page/bpdownload.html
