Quote:well naturalviolence im just showing you what my computer said, i actually think its SU9600. it said the opengl thing in my ati catalyst information.

Intel does make a cpu with the model number SU9600 so that is correct but opengl 4.0 was just released a few weeks ago. And only the newest desktop gpus support it at the moment. Most high end gpus only support up to opengl 3.3 and most integrated laptop gpus only support up to 2.1. You must have read the wrong info. and misinterpreted it. You probably read your driver version.

Edit: I just looked it up. Mobility 4550 support opengl 3.3. Not that it matters, just so you know.
hey hansendereck i did do that but it didn't do too much, but thanks for the info. i never knew that was there. and naturalviolence, i probably may have read the driver. but since the card does 3.3 then why doesn't dolphin understand that?
Those high OpenGL version is internal ATI Catalyst version of OpenGL, not your actual OpenGL version.

In most situation Directx is faster anyway, so even if you are successful in having OpenGL to work it most likely will be SLOWER.

Your main bottleneck is your CPU, nothing you can do except using a more competent system.

CULV is NOT for gaming much less emulation. Don't you realize that when you're buying one?
haha naoan, i already said i understand its my cpu. and i never said i bought this laptop for gaming, i had no intention. i just thought it had well enough specs to do so. but im understanding now it's more based on cpu rather than gpu.
Then no point in trying to make it faster as there are simply no magical plugin or setting to make it happen. :/
haha but i need teh magiq! well thanks for all your guys' help, i appreciate it,

i know what needs to be done...yay slow game haha.
Try some easy to emulate game, there are a thread here compilating the games. It was "list of games that do not require high clock" or something.
oh alright awesome thanks a bunch naoan!
