MixVoice was never defined , and I mean never. Even in r3570 ( the revision that piece of code was committed ) there is no clue about that function

Could be, but how much shorter? I don't know how buffers are working in Dolphin (or a real Wii). What I'm trying to figure out is how exactly the music loop mixing is occuring by manually mixing them with my audio software. So far it is clear (by this approach) that music is not looping exactly from the beginning of the audio stream.

Now, @Extreme is showing that audio buffers in MixAdd() are being dynamically adjusted. But is this code referring to the whole audio mix (samples and music)? Or to actual audio (music?) overlapping?

So if I wanted to define that bit of code, how would I define it so I can compile with that enabled?

All that does is cause Zelda Ucode games such as Mario Galaxy to go silent, perhaps you are adding the code in the wrong spot. I would talk to a developer who is familiar with the DSP such as nakee, Lord Mark, or Luigi, link them to this thread and perhaps they might be able to give some ideas.

I don't think you should be changing the buffer too much. Games on the real hardware probably reference static points in the real hardware.

My interpretation of that bit of code basically says that if the most significant bit of m_SyncFlags is 1, then mix all the voices. I don't really know how mixers work in digital signal processing, maybe check the mixer code already in Dolphin and see if there's any of that which you can apply to that function.

You can't. The function never existed so we don't know what it did. You can try to use other functions as jumb said

That would be a real good idea, because, as you said some time before, they stated that they will work on LLE and improve that, but atm, i have not seen any significant upgrade to that plugin, maybe it would be a nice idea to fix those bugs now, becauseit will take a lot of time to improve LLE

Over and over again I am able to reproduce the same thing when the music stops. It seems like the game is trying to loop samples with the AFC decoder, because AFC looping is buggy (hack) the music bugs out and stops lopping like it does with Zelda Twilight Princess.

That's what was happening when the music stopped looping. The only thing that can be done is get rid of that buggy AFC looping hack and properly implement the AFC Decoder + Looping. Either that, or fix the AFC Decoder + Looping hack. Tongue
