That's the great thing, any PC retexture for the original game models will work for Dolphin. A PC modder named Albert G. (can't think of the last name but I know it starts with a G.) released an entire retexture pack for the PC version. All the textures are there, it would just be quite an undertaking to dump EVERY single texture in Dolphin and find the coresponding texture for the PC version. I own the PC version as well and the filenames are not even remotely similar between the two. It could be done, but it would take a while; it would be awesome as a community project or something. I've noticed that the bootup screens are textures as well. You could change the bootup screens to something custom.... just a thought. I think the HUD elements could also be retextured, which could be interesting. I've been looking in the textures I've dumped for the reticle in the game. I would love to add in a hi rez reticle, but most importantly, a smaller one as the default one takes up quite a bit of space. I apreciate the feedback. At first I thought I was the only one who loves this game to death. Adding hi rez textures is just an attempt to "make" a proper PC version of this game since Capcom didn't give a **** about the PC version. Mouse aim mods for PC don't work well at all. The emulated wiimote works incredibly well for this game. I actually think this game controls better emulated in Dolphin than RE5 on PC which had proper mouse aim support from the get go. I actually bought a GDR8162B drive for the Gamecube / Wii exclusive REs since I don't have a Wii myself.
tomweise62305 can tell me exactly how to use your hires texture pack.
Why I copied the files to user / Load / Textures and activated load hires texture and I could not make the pack work.

can u do something about the terrible gameplay, controls, and overall lack of entertaining quality?

Your so clever aren't you inteGReddy. Don't hijack people's threads just to state your ignorant, unsupported and idiotic notions. Learn to keep your juvenile opinions to yourself and try to learn something about game design while you're at it.

Could someone tell me how do I use this Hi-Rez Textures pack.
This game is amazing is why I would like to know how to use this pack.

inteGReddy, RE4 is a modern classic whether you like it or not. Myself and many others happen to love this game; why post here if you don't like the game? To install the texture patch:
1st, download the RB4E08.7z file
2nd, extract the folder "RB4E08" to Dolphin directory/User/Load/textures (make sure the textures stay in the RB4E08 folder, 7-zip is the program you'll need for extracting.... it's free)
3rd, go into your graphics plugin options and check "ebable hires texture loading"
The hi rez textures should be immediately apparent once you get in game. Keep in mind, this texture pack was only tested on the US Wii version of the game using the DX9 plugin. It can probably work on other versions by renaming the textures to correspond with your version. For example, if you're using the PAL version you'll need to rename the texture folder to "RB4P08" and rename the prefix in all the texture files with "RB4P08" as well. Enjoy.
Just having a little fun....

In this game Its one of the horror game. In this all the graphics are shown is true naturally and same sound quality which I listen in a movie. This game is too easy . Its so many level are cross to the user to win the game. Its a amazing game and when I have a free time always play this game.
I'm ashamed to admit it but I have never beaten RE4 since PC port was such a disaster....hope you won't mid if I offtop a bit and ask which version is currently the best.

The Wii version is by far the most superier version of this game - it has it all - it's the pennacle!
NOW, back on topic!
