Hi! Im new here and i need some good advice about my desktop specs.

Windows 7 32 bit
Intel i5 750
Nvidia G force 9 series ddr3 512mb
1 terabyte hard disk
3 gig ram ddr2

Hows my specs?
It's pretty good, I think you'll be able to run some games at full speed with that system.
Dolphin relies mostly on the CPU, and yours is pretty nice.

What's your CPU clock speed? At the stock speed of 2.66ghz?
You should try over-clocking it if you know how, try about 3ghz if you can, and dolphin will run much better.

Actually they said overclocking makes the processor lifespan early.

I read the best for dolhpin is 3 ghz upward and dualcore.

Intel i5 750 is quadcore but only 2.66ghz. I dont wanna change the clockspeed.

So what will you say about the 2.66 ghz on all of the games on Wii?

A good advice much appreciate.
Processors like the i5 are designed to be overclocked you know.

Tnx for the info.

Actually im not yet familiar with the overclocking in MOBO and i hope the tech knows about it.

Last question?

how about sticking only with the 2.66 ghz? Will it plays all the wii games?
It should, because there are many players playing on single core....@2.4 GHz
And you got a Geforce 9...???which GFX??
Well, why not try emulating the games at 2.6ghz and see if it works?
If it's a bit slow, try overclocking. Your entire PC will benefit from the overclocking, if done right, and not just Dolphin.
Just keep an eye on the CPU temp.
If you are going to OC...try with small levels..ie try with 0.1 GHz boost with each OC...
Until you get your rig to around 3 GHz..

My most highest OC is.....
2.97 GHz........ O_O!!!!!
