hello guys .
i've got a terrible problem with dolphin emulator , i'm trying to play super mario galaxy 2 ; i pass through all the galaxys of world one but when i get the 1st grand star after fighting with gobbelgut the giant dragon the game freeze !!



please i need a solution .. and sorry for my english !!

You're playing on a considerably outdated build of Dolphin.
Go over here and download the latest build (r5870) and test it again.

You should maybe see a lot of speed improvements too.

ok ; but i have to replay all those stages to test it !!
how can i load the game from my version the the other ??

If you just download the new build, and copy-paste all of the files from your extacted new folder, into your installed old folder (overwriting dolphin.exe, etc), it'll keep all your save files.

You'll only have to reconfigure Dolphin afterwards, if you follow this guide, it should work pretty good.

Yeah that's what I meant. I'm just tired today.
Believe me, I don't download my games, I rip them on my homebrew enabled Wii.

Okay, well I tried getting past the first grand star on the latest revision anyway, still doesn't work.

But it's still worth updating your dolphin, it'll perform much better.

Make sure to enable Panic Handlers, so that you actually see an error message on fatal errors.

Load save state before the black screen, switch to software renderer or something like that, load the save state, save the state again when you get past the black screen, load it again when you want to.
