So EFB to RAM helps against the screen in front of the heads? But I guess it also slows things down, doesn't it?
I'm already having slowdowns in some places in this game (e.g. the pizza deliverer mini-game, or the "you have won" screen after mini-games)...I guess that's only with OpenGL but DX9 seems to hang Undecided
Yep, the same applies for DX11.
Hi all! I have a question about this game:

I'm playing quite well with Rev6676 on (now I'm playing it with 6729) but always with an emulated wiimote. If I play it with my real wiimote(s) the game hangs without any message after any game. It is a bit strange, as most of the games have minigames inside and here everything works. But as soon as the main game finishes, before asking if I want to play again o quit to the main menu, the emulator freezes the image and keeps running the music on the background. Also, if I select to play just a minigame, after it's over, the emulator hangs (playing with real wiimote).

So, as I don't have any error message I could guess:

-It could be a problem of the wiimote plugin. (The problem also appears in "hybrid wiimote" mode)
-It could be a FIFO problem (less probably) as the image freezes and music keeps playing on the background.

Anybody with any similar experience? Any idea if there could be a work around?

Thank you to all the community for this GREAT emulator!!
That's a FIFO error...no fix yet...let's just hope Marcosvit will get on it when he comes back from the beach *g*

All right! Thank you for the reply! I was also trying old versions of the emulator (around the 54xx) and is the same thing. Also, to discard errors with the wiimote, I erased the miis that I had in the controls just in case it was a problem of updating info of the characters to the wiimote (if there is any info update at all... I don't know, maybe the update goes directly to the mii channel but ...just a thought). Anyway, no luck, the error keeps being there.

Another thing.. now seems more logical a FIFO error as I had the problem 2 times even with the emulated wiimote Undecided I'm just telling this things as maybe could be useful to someone working on FIFO (Marcosvit or others)

Thanks people!

Very interesting...I've always had this problem, but didn't think that emulated wiimote could fix it...I will investigate it further...

Yup, I came across with this just by chance. I was lazy to pair my wiimote and used the emulated option. But bare in mind that sometimes the problem appears.
Maybe I found the "source" of the problem: if in the wiimote settings you select input source Wiimote1 as real and keep the others as none (practically you start the game with one Wiimote activated), the game will freeze randomly at the end of the mini-games; instead if you select Wiimote1 as real and Wiimote2 as real (if you have another paired wiimote) or emulated (so in both cases you're starting the game with 2 wiimotes activated) the game won't freeze...try it and tell me a if it works to you as well (always check in the game too if the second Wiimote is activated)...

P.S. it was possible to discover it because new revisions have wiimotes automatically activated at start, with older ones you had to press ALT+Fx and I don't think I would have tried it...

mmm.... which version you tried? I've been trying up to 6729 with two real wiimotes paired since the very first time I played the game in the emulator and I have had the freezes. I will try with newer versions, but if you tell me which one you tried, I'll be happy to try too!

Thanks!!

mmm... no luck here. More over, now I'm getting the freezes with emulated wiimote, real, whatever. I guess my first hypothesis is wrong, the freezes seem to be completely random.
