not really, they have been around for about the same time LGA775 was made afaik

Well you could look at the fact they didn't exist until after XP. Same with dual-cores, PCIe 2.0, DDR2, etc.

XP doesn't natively support any of that. Talk about showing it's age, lol.
WOW!!! I didn't know about that... but XP is very elastic... it has already provisons for multiple future things like 32-core processor.... O_O
only 2 GB RAM...... Sad
