Of note, my iso is 4.38GB, and again, this is the wii US/NTSC version (rzde01). Could that be an issue due to iso incompatibility? I'm using the latest revision (4.0 1794), won't load on either direct 3d or open gl. As soon as I turn the patch off, it loads.

I've tried editing the ini in the Documents/Dolphin Emulator/Game Config directory. The patch shows up in properties, and I've also tried adding it in through Patches/Show Defaults or Edit config. I even tried manually adding each of the 8 lines in the first version, and the end result is all the same. I suspect it could be my iso (perhaps it is compressed somehow?), but any help or size comparisons would confirm. Heck, I'm not even sure what to replace it with.

I really want this to work, as this is the biggest speed bump my new i7-4770k pc still has with this emulator (save crazy broken stuff like Rogue Leader).

Edit: Exact file size is 4,699,979,776bytes.

Would you please check the game properties by right clicking on the game icon in Dolphin's game list and selecting Properties? Then click on the Info tab and click on the compute button next to the MD5 Checksum.

Here's the info from the 1.02 version:

Revision: 0
Date: 2006/10/07
MD5 Checksum: 70946e09da8f0bb218bb3b3542953d63

Revision: 0
Date: 2006/10/07
MD5 Checksum: 49fa0811d03364b8c9d2329880828109
And, bingo. Replaced the ISO, made sure it was 1.02, and viola. It works beautifully. Amazing work. This needs to be patched into the main release somehow, it really does work! Full speed even at the end game's field.
so I suppose something was fixed and now I will be able to play zelda at full fps on my fx6300?
Probably. For better results overclock like hell.
I'm using Wii 1.00 and it's working fine, so wtf.

Bad dump perhaps?
Yeah, the patch didn't work for me at all, has that been fixed?
EDIT: Patch never seems to work
I must be on 1.01 or lower because I cant get the hack to work on any of the revisions I tried. I ripped my own disk and I would rather not have to download a new version. Is it a given that I will have to find the 1.02 version for this hack to work?

MY checksum: cde8fa85a07ade0bf95c669e03e54087
Is that for 1.0 Wii? That doesn't match the checksum of my disc.
