Is there any way I can enable ALL 4 of my cores to be working for this game then? Im pretty sure that could speed it up a lot.
Nope, and it wouldn't speed up anything.
I can't remember which post it was in, but it was a while ago since I played through TP, and using whatever revision I was at the time, I had NO slowdowns in Hyrule Field, no anywhere else in the game. It's less dependent on Dolphin settings and moreso on your rig's power.

All this time and there's still no fix for it other than disabling the map with the hack?
Anyone with a 4GHz+ (4.5GHz preferred) Sandy Bridge CPU + a minimum start at the GTX 570 2GB or 4GB level to test Hyrule? ^^

There's nothing about it that is broken.
daktari and tuanming what are you talking about ?
Hyrule fiels is working fine here on 3.2 ghz sandy bridge cpu.
You do realize this is 2 years old thread ?
What's about Hyrule Field that makes it go down in speed anyway?
I believe it is the fact that the entirety of Hyrule Field gets loaded, which causes pretty major slowdowns. The ZTP hack tries to dynamically load things if I am understanding it right.
@Kelton2

If you read back in this thread you will see that someone said they were dumping textures and the mini map continuously kept rewriting itself which ate a lot of memory. From what I understand, that seems to be the leading theory why it slows in Hyrule Field.
