r6042? So every Dolphin build from there on has it merged into it or what? cuz r6042 only says something about spelling mistakes in DX9 plugin...
It means his patch is made based on r6042 and will apply to that without problems.
ah ok, thanks...well, someone should let him commit it then I guess
sorry, i don't know if i can make this question.
but, could someone of you guys upload a svn with this patch applied?
some of us don't know how to compile dolphin
Unfortunately it takes up too much space on this board's server to post builds directly to this thread. However, lectrode has a very sweet site with recent builds that have the ZTP speed up hack applied. Here is the address: http://electrodexs.net/dolphin-emu/default.htm
Is it possible to make the pipeline flushes any faster, any further optimization that can be done to this patch? I only need about 5 - 8 more for full speed on the slowest part of Hyrule Field.
xtreme, I'll keep trying to figure out how to get some more speed in my spare time, but I havent made any more progress as of late.

I just committed the hack as it currently stands (r6057). If any more progress is made i will probably post a patch here before committing it, so it can be tested a little.
Just tried SVN6057 and I'm quite impressed with the commit. For once I hit 100% speed in Hyrule field (not for a prolonged time) but it seems over all faster because I hang around 90-95% majority of the time.

Edit: I was playing with the settings and higher settings I noticed that the game does run faster with EFB Scale set to 1x.
So, the minimap is basically the problem huh?
What if you made a Gecko code that simply stops the minimap from working?
Or maybe a patch code, like NSMB Wii already has.
Yeah, I asked that before, doesn't seem to be so simple...though a gecko code might be a good idea...?
