Since the patch causes issues with a few other games, is there a way to add a checkbox in the graphics configuration to switch it on and off?
Quote:Who would pick this "select few" of "proven individuals"?
Developers. On PCSX2 project only members who either made commitments or gave constructive feedback for years are allowed to vote on new features or bugfixes.
Like xtreme said, what use is it that there is a constant mass of people either +1'ing everything (even though they don't understand what the revision entails) or especially in cases of any sort of 'speed up', and a wave of 'good jobs'?
As said, there is a high likelihood these people are not even compiling these new builds or trying them out. They are valuable testers just as anyone else but they probably don't have enough insight to call something negative (or sometimes even positive, if it breaks something else)
Now even the grass issue has been fixed. This game screams to be a candidate for perfect emulated state

Yeah, I think it's about time to finish debugging and finally fix this issue considering the information given in this thread. I'm also extremely anxious to hear how work is coming along on skid's fifo fixes.
The last thing though should be to properly fix the AFC/Music looping bug.
How come the last post I can see here is from [SS] on the 13th, but the main forum screen says Xtreme2damax posted last? [edit] I can see them now. Weird.
Also, they (supposedly) fixed the grass bug in one of the latest revisions.
Yep, I said that
BTW: Would fixing the audio looping stuff also fix the music in SMG(2)? Or is that a totally unrelated issue?
In the patches area it looks like some people are peeling into that looping issue, but it seems to be very delicate...I hope a dev considers this a challenge

It would seem Mario Galaxy and Zelda Twilight Princess use different sound formats so if I were to take a guess I'd say no.
Well both this game and Galaxy are so very close to perfection, but I think the fewer issues they have the more impatience they will create. For example when Super Mario galaxy had that issue which made parts of every frame stuck to the screen, I was like "Oh whatever," with the game. Now I'm like "Damn, I hope the music looping is fixed soon!!!11!"
Well yeah, as the bigger issues are fixed, the more you want to see the smaller issues fixed for near perfect emulation. Since the recent graphics fixes that fixed water transparency and the grass in ZTP, has anyone compared the game in Dolphin with the actual hardware?
I find it funny that my FPS dropped only 4 FPS (from 22 to 18.... funny how it always goes down to 18 fps.... even though my game ran at 22) after reaching north hyrule field than coming back to south... o.O
