I guess there are at least two different problems leading to this issue together, that's why it's hard to figure out.
How well did Hyrule Field run in revisions before those many changes Ayuanx made in the 47xxs? I'm not talkin' perfect (remember, at least two problems, I bet), just was it better?
Because there ARE still some core and fifo problems from that time...I can always best tell running Bit.Trip.Beat (WiiWare) which runs only half speed when dual core is enabled.
Hyrule Field has always been slow, but Dolphin in general has became slower over the past several revisions which likely affected this game.

With Kiesel-Steins patch and reverting the changes that ZEROx mentioned I now have about 25 - 30 FPS in Hyrule Field that only dips slightly once in a while.

These patches don't seem to improve performance in other games though so there are likely several factors that affect performance.

Are you going to compile this? The last one you did gave me a good little boost. (32bit here)

I wonder if Skid got any further with his Fifo work yet, would be nice to see how much of a difference it will make. Skid, if you want the Fifo work tested before committing it to the svn you should post it as a patch so we can thoroughly test the changes. Smile

Any responses from developers regarding the recent information provided, such as what I inquired about in my last few posts?

I've tried your build and it's awesome for zelda...in my system Hyrule field is now running at 21-24 fps (before was 10-12). I'm using direct3d since it's faster and more beautiful.

THX A LOT!

It's already been compiled and uploaded, you may download it from the link provided in the following thread:

very nice build, it gives me decent speed w/o any graphic looses.
Excellent work! It plays very well here too thanks!
WOW!!! Many many thnx to you Sir! I just tried it and my FPS never dropped below 29fps until now. Another Milestone reached!
Should test out 5433 the new changes added more graphical effects to games that wasn't there in previous builds also Zelda now has some graphical enhancements due to changes in this new 5433 build. And btw those Zelda patches you added completely kill most other games. I wouldn't use this as a main build if i was you id devote this to zelda.
What other games, I've tested quite a few games and have had absolutely no problems and I have a lot of games. Also these patches shouldn't affect much anyways, Kiesel-Steins patch has no affect on any other games except for Zelda Twilight Princess from what I tested so far. The only other alteration I made also shouldn't cause many issues if it causes any at all.

Reverting the JIT change might of affected something, but it shouldn't of broken anything and any issues relatively minor.
