kiesel-stein, thanks, now no issues, but i stil have my 19-24 fps in Hyryle Field with your patch
Could someone upload a "de-glitched" build? I'm too stupid to compile any Dolphin (gives only errors when I try x64 and stops in the middle where it says "GCPad" when I choose x86) on Win7 x64 though I followed all instructions on http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/wiki/WindowsBuild Huh

Cores 1 & 2 = 5fps extra
Cores 3 & 4 = 5fps extra
Mixture of 1 & 3 or 2 & 4 is no boost
All 4 core is no boost

Happen to have a schizophrenic hyper-threading dual-core? Core 3 and 4 are just copies of 1 and 2 that are used to offload threads and appear as moar stuff available.

kiesel-stein: You still didnt tell us how you got there. What in particular made you get to the Environment texture stuff? The name? Trial&Error? Knowledge from other emulation projects? Crystal ball foretelling the future?
All i have to say is ""Crystal ball foretelling the future?"" made me laugh my ass off.

No, Proper 4 Cores, As far as i know the Q6600 doesn't have Hyper-threading Tech? CPU-Z and Everest both confirm this..

I saw that he explained most of it here, although I don't know how everyone missed that:

Indeed, I somehow read over it, and thought it was someone else coming up with a similar hack :o
Just now noticed that it was actually kiesel himself writing the post.
I got slowdown when I played around with core affinity X( Cpu: Phenom II 720 X3 clocked @ 3.2 Oh well...

Q6600 has 4 real cores. It's basically two conroe cpu dies on one socket. When I get my rig up and running again I'll confirm this since I also have a Q6600.

though i dont see how they are getting this extra 5 fps even though i have the same processor and have done the same procedures
