Full Version: Save/load crash problem with dual core enabled

Hi

Dolphin is running great, except for a problem often loading and saving, and some other random crashes.
Loading state often crashes Dolphin - if this happens when saving the save state is then corrupt. Or sometimes I will be unable to load state until I load from the mem card, enter the game and then I might be able to load (rather than loading as soon as running a game). Often it will error out saying 'FIFO overflown by gatherpipe'.

In SMG I can generally load if saved in the obervatory, but not if in a leve.

If I disable dual core support, the problem is fixed. Sometimes I cannot quick load, I disable dual core, load OK, then save, then enable dual core, then I can load!

This problem is with Mario Galaxy 1 specifically. I haven't seen it with other games, but I haven't really played others much.

I have seen others with this error but no solutions! Please help.

I edited the title to better describe the problem. No one know how to fix this?

PS my CPU is a Q6600 quad core @3ghz.
