I dont know about you guys, but I have like 5 different builds that run fastest for different games.
My mario kart runs really fast on one build but slows down my punchout.
I also have one for monsterhunter that makes it run perfect.
So to answer your question, I havnt came across one that runs more than 8 games perfectly. So look around the r5000 and r4000's, see wich ones run best for the games you play. Each revision is only about 200mb.

Probably 5186 x64 is the fastest build right now for old hardwares...
