I was just wondering if anyone could give me any pointers on overclocking this.

If you google athlon x2 overclocking it will get you some guides. If I remember my x2 right expect to overclock to around 3.4ghz on air.

Max I can safely overclock it without losing stability/increasing voltage?

Maybe 200mhz-300mhz. If you want a safe oc for that cpu I would do 3ghz even.

Should I increase multiplier or bus speed?

if you have access to multiplier thats the safest option.

To go from 2.6 ghz to 3 ghz I needa increase multiplier from 13 to 15. I should be safe/stable with that?

200x15 n= 3ghz ya you should not have a problem runnign that.

I think max ghz needed by dolphin are 3.2Ghz or 3.4Ghz. With more OC u get almost the same fps (+1+2 maybe). But the GFX card is a different history, in my tests i get more FPS ocing the GPU.

Thats false. That would mean 4.3ghz e8500 would run the games fullspeed 100% of the time which it doesn't. It's not because of my gpu also. Keep in mind that a 3ghz x2 does not equate to a 3ghz I7.
