yes you can, it's just a matter of setting the keys up on the gamepad plugin.
i can't configure my gamepad, left and right doesn't work! plus there are so many buttons! and what about wiiremote?
Are you using the latest SVN Revision? there were some fixes lately that might solve your problem with the left and right buttons. For the wiimote, you should use the wiimote new plugin that's also on the latest revisions.
