Very harsh, but also true.

Another thing I noticed is people who only buy ati/amd and assume everything Nvdia is overpriced junk, and intel is very expensive and poor value. Also, I find ATI users rag on nvidia way more than nvidia users rag ati.

But on the topic at hand Phenom X2 unlocked to quad is the best value in pc's right now, and you should avoid the Phenom x6 in my opinon unless you have a need for 6 cores, which I assume you dont.

The best processor for dolphin though isnt a 6 core, or even a quad, but the CoreI3 overclocked to insane frequency. Overclocking to 4+ ghz should be a cakewalk for even the most novice builders. Who knows how high that thing can clock. It available for the outrageous price of 115 dollars. Those jerks at intel must be rolling in the cash at that price.
I know I'd like at least a tri core or a quad core so I can test the LLE on thread option. Currently games hang or freeze with the LLE on thread option with dual core processors and running games in single core mode just to use LLE on thread is quite slow.

Ok I retract my statement I will post in this thread again but just for this reason. I read that the LLE audio plugin is broken, is that correct? I'd just like to know if I can use a third core of my CPU for my games Big Grin

Once LLE works you can use 3 cores, right!
