Where are those graphs from? I don't recognize the style.

Its funny how intel i5 boy keeps finding benchmarks that are better then AMD but when i look i find benchmarks saying amd is better and i find benchmarks saying intel is better lol i3 is better then phenom II x4 what a joke.

I think they are not fan boys. Intel i7 920 is better than AMD Phenom II X6 1090T. And remember the most important thing is the "CPU architecture" and not the clocks/Ghz.

I've said it plenty of times, show me proof to your claims, I've shown results from 3 different unbiased websites that are well known and very well trusted. If I wanted to be a fanboy and show intel biased links I'd give you a tomshardware article but I don't. I'm still waiting on your AMD benchmarks from reliable sources ^_^

EDIT: I got ninja'd by dynam0. By the way the database you linked is comparing the 1090T against the i7 920, this topic is about the 1055T ^_^

I don't have i5. I've bought an i7 and a phenom phenom II 965 for my htpc (similar to what you own)

How can someone keep saying this without looking at any of the benchmarks posted, like the one above by storm. In case you missed it (above your post) it's right here. http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/147?vs=47

This is like simply stating "no way a ferrari is faster than mclaren" or "no way man landed on the moon" without offering any kind of counterexamples or proof. See the page for the whole benchmark of dozens of applications tested on both processors.

Ermmm what? xD. Intel i7 920 is better, whats the problem, i was checking the benchmarks.

intel ix cpus clock for clock are faster than amds. Period. However, since amd is cheaper and can have more cores for the same amount of money, it makes them recommended in apps like rendering, encoding, etc, but not dolphin, unless on budget.

And aswell i see people saying i7 is better not better maybe in some ways for example is the i7 better for a app that is designed to be ran with 6 cores no i think not since the app needs 6 cores the phenom x6 would be better look lets stop this now thay are both nice cpus it and both have advantages over each other is that better.
