I would rather have it delayed and have a nice refreshing artsyle that is timeless rather than have it pushed out with TP realism only to have people turn around and complain about how bad it looks compared to some flavor of the month ultra gritty and realistic game on the HD twins. This is turning into Celda all over again a game does not need to be realistic for it to be a great game, a lot of the Wii's library is not done that way and the games are still enjoyable. Red Steel 2 which is cel shaded looks a lot better than the first fail of an attempt at realism in Red Steel.

But they have used the cell shading like 3 times ( I guess ), but anyways I don't really care about the art style ( I will like it anyways Tongue ). But I don't like to wait x.x . Well, at least that gives me time to buy a motion+
Some things looks good only in cel-shaded....like Ultimate Spider Man.....:p
I don't really get what are the advantages of cell-shaded, mostly for that zelda, they could have used the same graphic of TP and make the story of the one that will come out Sad
I'm sure Zelda should not be taken as a serious story about a boy searching for a princess... If you want Zelda games to be more realistic, add f*cking blood
Yeah, all Nintendo's hugest series is the search for something... Mario search for stars/princess, DK search for bananas, Olimar search for "treasure" (trash), Samus for the bounty to kill, and Kirby for the Star Rod or something. It's pretty "cheap" stories
I will pay nintendo every penny I have if they remake Real Wind Waker, like TP.....(I know I am confident that nintendo will not make one....Tongue

Are u sure? aren't they making a remake of OoT on 3DS? Although I don't really think it's going to be different...Undecided

Ok seriously Zelda is not Dragon Age or the Lord of the Rings it does not need uber realistic graphics to be good, This current art style is better than TP's realism it's a nice blend of WW cell shading with some TP aspects. 5 years from now TP will look like crap while this game and WW will still look good.

Yeah he is true Wink
I thing its the best idea from nintendo to give cell shaded zelda games
Because wii isnt powerfull as xbox360 or PS3 and its just gamecube with TV remote Confused
So dont hoping for realistic graphic 4 the wii Wink
Realism does not make the game, It instead limits the creative ideas that can be implemented in the game because if they make it to creative then it stops being realistic. A guy i used to know back in who owns a PS3 would not touch a Wii because he believed that it was for kids because it had no realistic games on it, as if that wasn't enough i tried showing him Infamous an incredible PS3 game and here is how it went.

Me: Hey have you played Infamous now before you turn it away it is a PS3 game
Him: No haven't heard of it before
Me: 'shows him youtube vid of an early part of the game where you needed to take out some soldiers on a bridge'
Him: WTF he shoots lightning OMG that's so unrealistic im not playing
Me: are you kidding me you won't play it because he shoots lightning
Him: It's unrealistic it's the kind of thing that people who play kiddy games would like

Anyway this argument went on for a while eventually i gave up and just left, there was convincing him of how games do not need to super ultra realistic looking to be good.

Realism works for somethings but not for others, it works for any type of Simulator where (no offence intended) imaginative creativity is discouraged. It however does not work in something that is meant to be a fantasy of some sort where you suspend you disbelief for the time you play it (would you like to see an ultra realistic Mario, Kirby, Samus or Link).

Samus

Would you believe this thing could save a galaxy, It barely looks like it can defend itself from Rust let alone the Space Pirate hordes

Mario

The nose alone on this thing is enough to frighten any princess into letting herself get kidnapped

Link
[Image: super-smash-bros-brawl-link-art.jpg]
Link has aged badly but if he looks like this what on earth does Ganondorf look like, poor Zelda caught between a rock and a hard hard place here.

Kirby

KILL IT KILL IT, DEAR GOD WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING
