and did you actually press start on the poem screen?

I´m new here in forum, and start with dolphin since 2 weeks. I don´t know what to do with the patch data, can some help me?

P.S: I will play resident evil 4 (wii), but i´ve got a black screen.

Resident Evil 4 had nothing to do with this patch. This patch was for Eternal Darkness, which now works in the latest revision without a patch. Patches are intended only if you want to compile a build yourself or have someone else compile it for you, there is no way to patch pre-compiled binaries.

I'd advise that you open a new thread in the correct section explaining your issue so you can receive support.

Thx for the comment =), but i don´t want to open a new theard, because I think i´m not the only person with this problem and in others forums they said that the "patch" will fix my problem. If I open one in witch catogery I must put it in? Can you post a link?

Hi guys, I ve got the ultimate version, and finally i can play.

But I cant see my life/magic/sanity gauge, so its anoying, anyone here got the same problem?

I'm pretty sure that has been answered...search this thread or - if you don't find your answer here - the official game thread (that's also where you'd rather ask this question IF you can't find the answer)

Hey everyone, I have just made an account to drop by and download the patch and FIFO version of Dolphin.

I do realize that this question is probably stupid: I have read the entire thread, and it DID help me a lot. I can run this game, even without slowdowns, and the only thing I'm missing is the menus. I KNOW this has been asked several times, but it still doesn't work for me, after everything I did.

Worse off, I completely DON'T know Dolphin. I don't even know what I'm supposed to do with the .patch file.

I do admit this post is somewhat annoying, but I hope you'll be able to help me.

You have made all that except the most obvious, to use the latest dolphin rev. All problems are fixed.

Would be fine, but the downloads seem to be only directed for Vista or 7 whilist I use XP.

The x86 build works on XP x86 and x64. If you want to use the x64 build you will need to ask someone ask someone to compile a 64-bit with the UseSRWLocks and UseConditionalVariables defines disabled or do it yourself. However I would suggest upgrading to Windows 7 especially if you have a system made in the last three or so years. Students can often get free copies of Windows or copies that are reduced in price more so than OEM copies. You can also use any revision before the 7xxx revisions which should be compatible with Windows XP x64, Eternal Darkness should work with the mid to late 6xxx revisions.
