Thank you so much! I'm curious about cut scene audio, I'm playing in SC mode, with all your suggestions. In the beginning of the game when you find the book, there's a cut scene that has no audio... the cut scene when you finish the chapter has no audio as well. Should I have audio on them?
@ Iceman: Hey, will you upload that patch of yours which you said fixed the watermark related crashes in SMG2?
Hey guys,
I have the PAL version of the game, but when I try to load it from the ISO i backed up, the sound goes bananas in gameplay and at the edgar alan poe poem. But in the cutscenes (also in the in game cutscenes) the sound is ok.

So i downloaded the NTSC version since I own the PAL one, and tried it. Voila! The sound was perfect but in the in game cutscenes the movement of characters are choppy, like it's skipping frames by a huge deal ( I don't remember this happening with the PAL one, or i didn't notice). And when I enter some of the rooms in the beginning of the game (for example that first window from which the sunlight coming in) the counter shows 30 FPS (like slow motion) but the speed shows %100. I didn't try these rooms with PAL, maybe this is happening in the PAL version too. Or is that slow motion by the game? If it is, it's a little weird :S Whatever guys, thanks anyway for your answers.

BTW, I tried to disable audio throttling and switching to OpenAL. Also I tried using different sound card. None of them worked.
Read this post and use that build.sound works perfect under Single core setup.

I'm using that build... X64 one to be exact. And the sound problem is there when I start the PAL game. And NTSC one has TERRIBLE slowdown issues... Like when many monsters around, the game crawls into a slow motion... What the hell... PAL one doesn't have that but instead audio problem. I'm soooo lucky.
i almost finished the game and there is no such problems.
Maybe your pc requirements are way below needed to play the game.
i use DC 2.6ghz cpu

sound is absolutely perfect on my ntsc game.in single core mode.
maybe update your sound drivers?i don't know what else to tell u.

and yes i use x64bit as well.on Win 7
Ok i fixed that sound problem, the problem was with the ISO.

Ok, my system: Win 7 64 bit, Sound Blaster Audigy Value (tried with other sound cards as i said), 8800 GT 512 MB, 4 GB DDR2 HyperX 1066 MHZ Ram, Intel C2D E6600 2.4 GHZ. In this system, there are terrible slowdown issues with NTSC (also with PAL but it's not THAT horrible, it's still bad), and it hangs up right in the cutscene after end of chapter one (after Augustus Piorus's story (whatever his name is, the Roman guy). I'm talking about PAL version, NTSC version has some serious issues.

By the way, if anyone has the PAL version or can download it, can you post the SaveState right after the cutscene (a SaveState in gameplay) of end of chapter 1 (roman guy)? I asked my friend who has more or less same config as me and he says he is stuck at the same exact spot. You will be doing a great job if you do so Big Grin

Ok, I got past that point with X32 version of the build but now there is audio glitches in the cutscenes... Well, a guy can't have everything i gues...
u do realize that u just admitted that u committed piracy?
its punishable by ban in this forum, and support for your problem ends here.
Where to be exact? Well, i bought my game off eBay tbh, it was the PAL version (it was 50 dollars with shipping... Pretty expensive)... And i had a problem with my Wiikey 2 chip, so I also downloaded the NTSC version to try it (it doesn't read the retail game, i tried with backup with no luck, and since I own the game )... That's why i'm asking you how to run it on emulator... Because I ALREADY BOUGHT THE GAME WITHOUT KNOWING THAT MY WII WON'T PLAY IT. I had the ISO in my computer, because i tried to fix it with FSTFX (Gamecube Audio Fixer). If you are talking about,

"By the way, if anyone has the PAL version or can download it?", i asked that way because if you own the NTSC version, you can download the PAL one. It's the same game and you have every right to do so if it's problematic Smile

I didn't commit piracy at all. Back to topic please, i need that save file for x64 Tongue

If you guys still aren't convinced, i can post a screenshot of my Ebay account Smile
this game cannot be used with savestates at all.
game uses audio stream technology which dolphin does not emulate correctly in all cases(such as this one) and if u for any reason use savestate u will break audio.

as i stated i almost finished game, and didn't found not once any audio problems ,i have 2 sound cards Sound blaster Live and integrated C-Media on both sound is fine, and for too much slowdowns ,well i dunno i played on SC the slowest i got is 85% CPU,but that only slowed game a bit nothing serious.
have u tried to overclock your cpu a bit? 2.4ghz is rather slow since game uses only single core properly.evey hz should help.

no i own NTSC version of the game ,try sharing the save game with someone who has PAL version, and compare results.
