Once I started trying to use the official Win7 driver for the device with multiple controllers I got BSODed a few times with a message regarding Maypro.sys (the driver). I guess the manufacturer did not make it a 64bit driver.

So now I'm back to using the default Windows driver. It allows me to use multiple controllers, but the input response is unusably slow when more than one controller is attached. I have a feeling this can be remedied, but I'm not sure how. Will keep this thread posted. It seems I'm not the only one out there with this device/OS combo.

Have you tried using a recent svn build? I made some changes to the input system not too long ago. DirectInput now uses buffered data rather than polled data.
It might work better with your gamepad/drivers.
I only see the build version at http://www.dolphin-emu.com/downloads.php?cat_id=9

Where would I find the newer SVN build you mention?
You can find recent builds here: http://www.dolphin-emu.org/download.html
The most recent SVN Build did not fix the issue, so I gave up for a couple of weeks. Now I'm back at it. The retailers of the usb adapter have since updated the drivers page with a work-around, but it must only be for 32bit users as I now get a BSOD when I try to use their drivers. *sigh*
Just noticed this window is still up on one of my laptops so I decided I'll update the thread.

I finally gave up and ordered a new adapter from DealsExtreme. It is only a 2-controller adapter but has an additional USB port to add another 2 if you want to. And it cost less than $5. Now I can play my Gamecube and Wii games perfectly on my Win 7 64bit machine. Smile
