Yeah, I'm not much at home right now and my notebook isn't that representative when it comes to benchmarking ;P
Yup full speed with SMG and DX11, just too bad the same couldn't be applied to DX9 since it's a DX10/DX11 only feature. Nolan.Check committed a few impressive commits for DX11, so give them a try when you can. Smile

I'm just waiting until the DX11 plugin has the features and compatibility of the DX9 and OpenGL plugin, then I will ditch using the DX9 plugin.

DX11 is still slower than DX9 in Hyrule Field in ZTP. With DX9 I'm getting close to full speed without the hack enabled, but with DX11 and OpenGL I get about 10 FPS or more less than DX9.
Will I get full speed with new update to DX11 plugin if I use a DX10 card?
fwiw, there's no advantage of having a DX11-capable card right now, so you should be fine with dx10 hw as well.
however, I think dx11 class hardware tends to have a higher VRAM bandwidth, and since we're wasting quite much time doing VRAM uploads (constant buffer updates!) dx11 hw doesn't suffer as much from this.

Anyway, just go ahead and try ;P
Xtreme2damax, is the speed you get in SMG (observatory) higher in Dx11 than 9? Mine is still lower, (5-7FPS) also I haven't updated Dolphin in a while, and now Dlist caching doesn't give a speed increase (it gave me +10FPS in SMG before) I know it was slowed slightly when Roodolfo fixed some bugs with it, though how is it for you?

EDIT: Ok there's a real bug with the graphics configuration window (tested only Dx9), and slowdown with Dlist caching. In Paper Mario 2, I get 60FPS without Dlist caching, 20 FPS with it. And now the graphic configuration window: If you have an option enabled in the game properties (e.g. Dlist caching), whenever you open the graphics configuration window, the options will set themself to what's configurated in the game ini's, so even though you can change an option, and it will take effect in the game, the next time you open the configuration window, it will reset to what's in the game ini.

So in Paper Mario 2, each time I opened the graphic configuration window, my FPS went down to 20 as Dlist caching got enabled, I deselected it, the FPS went back up. Open the configuratio window again, repeat...

R6295 X64 btw, this is now issue 3378.

Yeah.. I also tested it meanwhile and DX11 was also about 10 FPS slower... I also had DList caching enabled though.
tried a build by xtreme with the max xfb raised to 16, and one by myself.

both display blue triangles, and still give a max xfb reached warning. O.o

is there any way to silence the warning?
xfb set to 16? blue triangles? what kinda Dolphin are you using? O_o
do you just mean the upperleft screen being lightly blueish in some games? then that's a known issue with all nvidia cards. You can work around it by disabling fog.
no, i mean there was a blue triangle pointing down in the top of the screen reaching to about the middle when changing the MAX_VIRTUAL_XFB to 16, i was told to try this by neobrain to try and stop Rebel Strike from spamming max virtual XFB reached prompts.
uh, alright, nevermind me; everything that goes beyond the options tabs is beyond me ^^
