It runs rather fine on my case; I can get smooth framerates on Lemony Snicket with r5751, albeit with some bugs. The VFD eye in the loading screen has corrupted textures, and some areas give off a ridiculously bright bloom:

I'll try this on newer builds to see if there are any improvements.

Long time reader, first time poster.

Just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this glitch with Resident Evil (GC or Wii) with the DX11 plugin. From the first build that DX11 was introduced in, I've had this issue. All 3D items have graphical glitches/artifacts/garbage, whatever your favorite term is. I've tried various options but the only solution is to change back to DX9. I would use OGL but of course...the framerates.

I've tried from the first DX11 Rev. all the way to the shiny new release of Rev. 5811.

Here is an image of the issue:

Updated DX to July 2010.

(Speaking of Resident Evil, no word on a GC sound fix I presume?)

I'm trying to get this game working really well so that I can do a narrated gameplay series (Let's Play...) on my YouTube page. I currently have over 5000 subscribers itching for me to play a new game! I hope the image is clear enough. I wish to use Wii version due to fixed audio, one disc - but the framerates in areas such as the 'bird cage room' and front mansion room about 20fps, regardless of settings. I don't get the framerate issue on the GC version but of course, I DO get sound issues.

If anyone could shed any light on this, I'd really appreciate it.

I also want to say thank you to all the hardworking developers and indie programmers who help keep this project alive. It's come a LONG way since when I last used Dolphin and I'm thrilled to see such a thriving community help do whatever they can.

hmmm, wasn't the black bottom in A Boy And His Blob fixed? Well, it's back Undecided
Since what rev?
cannot say unfortunately...now I'm not even sure anymore if it had been fixed at all...I think someone said so somewhere in the forum...but maybe he just used an older build, because at the beginning, DX11 plugin didn't have the issue...
hey, i think the dx11 plugin is great, in this early stage it already works wonders in some games..

like Naruto Shippuuden - Ryuujinki (jap) works alot faster with dx11 and opencl
only the model in center but it was already fixed for dx9

i am fine with dx11 if you dont erase dx9 for it - dx9 is a real faster option for some people ... not everone can buy every half year a new pc Smile
Hey guys, this new plugin is awesome, but in some games I get glitches. When I tried to select d3d9 version, it didn't show up in the plugins tab. It is present in Dolphin 2.0. Am I missing sth? Dolphin SVN R 5837.

Update your DX9 runtime to the June 2010 one. Even if you've already got installed a DX11 runtime ;P
