Does anyone find this the most challenging Harvest Moon? The game time goes by very fast, I can barely do all my chores in time. You start with a very small rucksack. You start with a pretty small, none-square plot of land. And you start with a very quickly consumed stamina.

I find it the easiest, but that's just me. Also, if I'm not mistaken the rucksack is infinite, or very very large. You start off with 3 smaller plots. Are you sure you have the right game?

Also, is there a way to fix the garbled audio, I don't think I could play the game to it's full greatness without audio.

I got the wrong game... I was thinking Magical Melody. I haven't bought Wonderful Life actually, I heard it wasn't that good. Don't remember exactly why but I read something that made me skip this one.
* Checked the wiki. The water crops multiple times a day, bad text translations, and player death really turned me down. I also heard some core concepts were skipped for connectivity/wi-fi stuff. I also didn't like ToT because of all the motion stuff.

Use LLE for the sound. And a few days ago the game was totally unplayable due to the famous text bugs so you ain't gonna complain for sound glitches

Oh trust me, I know that there was a text bug, and I've been checking back hoping for a fix, I'm guessing for a year or two(I really don't know if that is an accurate time frame). But the ambiance the sound gives just makes the game for me. It helps make it so much more relaxing.

-Just tried using LLE and it drops the fps by about 5, which is playable, but the audio still stutters and isn't much better in my opinion. I thank you for your advice, and I may try other settings later.

I'm running Dolphin on Mac. Is there any way for me to fix the text problem?

The tex-preload branch of Dolphin fixes the text, maybe you can find someone to compile that for you around here. It should be worked on some more in the future and then merged to master, but not right now.
