Can you make the build cost a bit less, like $700 instead of close to $800?
CPU: intel i5-4590
GPU: Asus GTX 750 Ti (For now)
RAM: 8GB DDR3 G. Skill Ripjaws

If you use the mail-n rebates it's more like $760.

Made 2 builds with parts that were cheaper without resorting to low quality inferior parts. Only difference is the amount of RAM:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3fKHJx
-with 4 GB RAM
-before rebate: $749.88
-after rebate: $699.37

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/pwMnjX (recommended)
-with 8 GB RAM
-before rebate: $777.88
-after rebate: $727.37

I like both of the builds, maybe I will just wait and save up and then just get the first build you posted. One problem is that I am in Canada so shipping from USA to Canada is expensive, there are import charges on everything above $20. So I'm going to have to find the parts locally, but I'll find them eventually.

Thanks for the help!

Ugh, darn Canada imports....

If you have an American friend, can you have the stuff shipped to him and then have him ship it to you, or would you still need to pay import fees on that?

Also, I looked up the parts on Newegg.ca, and it comes out to be $861.91

wow $861 is pretty expensive compared to the USA cost, but I think I'll be able to do it. I'll just need a couple more months. I don't know anyone personally in the USA, I'll just buy them locally.

Yeah, cost of importing is probably included in the price.

I got permission to be able to put a case of that magnitude in my room. So I guess I will be getting the first build you posted. I'm going to make a video of it and see how she plays once I assemble it. Thanks for the help cyndaquil!

Sorry but I have another question Tongue I'm trying to buy everything from one place to if something comes DoA, I won't be panicking and trying to find out what place I bought the broken part from and it just gives me re-assurance.

Would this motherboard work? http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=8991509&CatId=8586

I don't know if it is weaker than the one you posted in part picker, so that's why I'm asking.

Also, for the case, I like the color green. So would this one work as well: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=9195046&CatId=3428

Roommate said a computer is fine as long as:

1) No desk

2) No wires going all over the place

3) No keyboard/mouse (which is fine, because I'm using a wireless air mouse and xbox 360 controller for games)

You can shave another $200 off that without losing too much performance if you knock the cpu down to a G3258 and remove the cooler.

Yes.

No, it needs to be Z97.
