Hello,

I just started using Dolphin 3.0 and started playing Zelda Wind Waker. I am trying to do the sword training, and I can't get through it because I can't thrust.

The thrust combo is: L + Tilt main stick forward + B

It's the Tilt I'm having trouble with. After pressing "L" and adding "Up Arrow," Link simply paces around the target and pressing "B" to attack has no response. I tried using the modifier (LSHIFT) + Up Arrow to see if it was a pressure issue, but got no results.

PC Specs:
OS: Windows 7
CPU: Intel i7
RAM: 4 GB

Any help is appreciated! Thanks! Smile

Ok, no problem! Smile Here it is:
Note:

I tried using the modifier for the mainstick to do the thrust too. This was the combo:

Q (L) + Up Arrow + Modifier (RSHIFT) + Z (B)

I also tried the above without the modifier.

Still couldn't thrust! I know I'm just not getting the tilt, but I don't know how I should adjust my settings.

I FINALLY GOT IT!

By the instructions, I thought I needed to HOLD DOWN L while tilting and pressing B, but that's not the case. Smile

You're obviously doing something wrong, tried thrusting with the exact same settings as yours and had no problems, are you sure you're l-targeting the enemy before pushing forward and A, and also if your l targeting is on hold, goto options and change it to switch because using hold is almost impossible with this config
Oops, a little knocking heads there, ignore this post then

Hi. Did you already find out how to thrust? I started playing Wind Waker and I can't thrust on the sword lesson.
