Hi I'm pretty new to dolphin and first of all thanks a lot to the team who developped it Big Grin.
I've searched a lot on internet to have the better configuration for Zelda The WW.
No matter what I do I'll have some problem with the 4.0 :
-SlowDown
-Black Screen (Then need to reboot)

And no matter what I do the game is pretty slow.

I've look in the net and found that in the 3.5 version support it much better but got the problem of black screen (much more than in the 4.0 version) and in order to fix that we got to change to LLE..
But if we do that then the game is really really slow...

I run on Mac os Mid 2010 : Intel core I5 2.3Ghz
Memory 8Gb 1333Mhz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 512Mb
Mac OS C 10.9.4

I didn't check if the windows version support it better but I think it will (I guess since there are more user on windows it's logical for the team to put much effort in thoses Tongue )
Have a good day

Yes I did in there : https://dolphin-emu.org/download/
The latest available version for mac os is the 4.0 (And not the 4.0.1 or others...)
EDIT : Ok so ive seen that there is the 4.0-3587 version out for mac os. I've downloaded it :

-Quality was way better, less bugs in textures etc...
-Still slow as hell like ive got 10fps and between 20-60% of speed...

You have the infamous intel HD 3000. They have buggy drivers on Mac since Apple insists on writing their own drivers.
Can you boot camp into windows and try it on there?

Ok so it seems my mac can't get bootcamp (lol ?)... I don't really understand why but I did really tried everythings... So now I'm stuck and can't go on.
It seems that the new versions of dolphin (for mac) are even less compatible with mine.
I've downloaded the version there : https://sites.google.com/a/devkitpro.org/dolphin-emu/osx-dolphin-test-builds
whose it seems works the best for the games I launched (Skies of Arcadia, Zelda WW (not perfect at all but still better than the new versions) and super smash bros brawl (got slowdowns sometimes with this one but works ok)).

So I just hope that one day I'll get a version of dolphin who will work better Big Grin.

Thank you anyways guys.

That's not an official distribution site, plus those versions on that site are two years old. Get the latest developer build or archived versions from this site, not anywhere else.

What exactly is your Mac anyway? I'm not aware of a mid-2010 model with a 2.3ghz i5 and only Intel HD graphics. The Mac mini of the time were still running core2 duos and the Mac book pros had Nvidia graphics. IMac had much faster i5 processors. The only 2.3ghz models I'm aware of are the 2011 mac book pro and the 2011 mini.

I should also point out that the Core i5 2514m, which the apple products used in that generation, is about on par with today's ULV processors in terms of performance (if it is indeed comparable to the more common i5-2520m and 2410m processors), and I see those processors pegged as not being powerful enough to run dolphin perfectly on windows PCs all the time. It may be that your processor simply isn't strong enough to begin with to run these games smoothly.

Hi and thanks for your answer. I said previously in my post that this is the only version working for my mac... Or should i say the best one. Never said it was official or nothing... Just that the official doesn't work.
I've tested dolphin on a pc as old as my mac (early 2011 sorry that was a mistake before) and it runs way better, but still not the best. I'm gonna play on this till I change my mac (as soon as he ll die... probably 1 year lol).

Have you update to osx 10.10? People have reported getting faster speeds and better drivers
